In this piece I touch on the emotional and psychological aspects of jealousy. Various visual elements symbolizing jealousy appear in the painting, such as tangled and binding forms or patterns that suggest a sense of entrapment... The use of color, texture and layering in the encaustic adds depth and complexity to the composition and increases the intensity of the subject matter.
The painting captures the complex and often destructive nature of jealousy and invites us to examine our own feelings, opinions and experiences on the subject.
How to work with encaustic images:
Encaustic itself gives one the ability to see further in the end result than the original intention. It is similar to life, or the journey of self-discovery, when we try to discern what is beneath the surface and what is not apparent at first glance.
The short description of the picture can be a clue, but you don't have to be influenced by it at all.If the picture speaks to you, it means that only you can decode the hidden meaning it holds for you.Just find a moment of peace and concentrate on the picture in silence or with relaxing music. We will do a short breathing exercise (deep breath in,hold for 5 seconds and slow breath out 7 times in total). And allow the thoughts and insights to flow freely into our field of consciousness.
Write down all thoughts, feelings, physical sensations in a journal for future reference.
