Sometime around the age of 13, I was drawn to a book about the Inca Empire, which I read many times and enjoyed revisiting. That is why the Journey to the Roots series can't miss a mandala dedicated to this nation, its culture and its legacy. The colours are again intuitive as they were sent to me when I concentrated on this place. In the center of the mandala is the Inca cross of Chakana.
If you feel drawn to this mandala, try a short meditation.
Notes on meditation with the Inca mandala:
Mute the sound according to your preference, set the video to loop (repeat). Do a short breathing exercise (deep breath in, hold for 5 seconds and slow breath out 7 times in total).
Let us look at the mandala and feel all the shades of its colours flowing through our body, awakening ancient memories, thoughts and connections. Let us be carried away by visions of a great and important kingdom and in the depths of our unconscious memory we will hear echoes of the events of this period......after a time we can close our eyes and quietly watch what appears on our inner canvas. We stop working with the mandala as we feel it, or set a timer for 20 minutes.
We notice any sensations that arise in the meditation process, anywhere in the body or in our feelings, and make a journal entry when we are finished.
